Product description CES 2017: MSI Launches New B250, H270, and Z270 Motherboards Read More The MSI B250M Mortar Arctic LGA1151 mATX Motherboard lets you build a Windows system that sports a 6th- or 7th-generation Intel processor and up to two dedicated graphics cards. The B250M Mortar Arctic features an Intel B250 chipset and an LGA1151 socket to become compatible with Intel's Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Pentium, and Celeron processors. Regardless of a micro-ATX form factor, it still comes with two PCIe 3.0 x16, two PCIe 3.0 x1, and four DIMM slots. For storage, it offers six SATA interfaces for your 2.5" and 3.5" storage drives as well as an M.2 slot for an ultra-fast SSD. MSI has designed this motherboard with an arctic color theme to better match your components.
MSI has outfitted this motherboard with HDMI, DVI-D, and DisplayPort outputs to deliver detailed visuals to your monitors utilizing integrated Intel graphics. With two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots available, you can install optional graphics cards and link them with AMD CrossFire technology to enable high-performance gaming.
Aside from the slots, the B250M Mortar Arctic motherboard is equipped with an Intel Gigabit Ethernet port along with a Realtek ALC892 audio codec chipset, which immerses you in 7.1-channel sounds through your speakers or headset. Other notable features include four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, letting the system access printers, scanners, and external storage drives. Moreover, one of the four USB 3.0 ports features a USB Type-C interface, which lets you connect a USB-C cable the first try. - Intel B250 Chipset
