Product description The B450M PRO-M2 AM4 Micro-ATX Motherboard from MSI is built on the AMD B450 chipset, supporting Ryzen processors with an AM4 socket. It has two memory slots that can hold up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM running at up to 3466 MHz when overclocked. For storage, it's equipped with four SATA III ports and a single M.2 slot, which utilizes the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface for speeds of up to 32 Gb/s when used with an appropriate drive. While it's equipped with VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI outputs for integrated graphics, this motherboard also has one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a graphics card as well as two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots for other PCIe-based hardware. Other notable integrated features include Realtek ALC887 7.1-channel HD audio and Realtek 8111H Gigabit LAN. - Cooling
- For cooling, this motherboard has two fan headers that support both DC and PWM modes, which allow you to manually or automatically adjust speeds within BIOS or a third-party software, so you can find your preferred balance between cooling and noise.

- Aside from standard SATA ports, the B450M PRO-M2 also has a single M.2 slot, which is PCIe 3.0 x4 compatible for speeds of up to 32 Gb/s when used with an appropriate drive. Additionally, you can use MSI X-Boost and AMD STOREMI to help optimize your drives' storage and performance.
- Audio
- MSI Audio Boost consists of both hardware and software additions that are designed to provide you with a high-quality listening experience. The left and right channels are built on separate PCB layers, De-Pop Protection prevents loud popping noises, an EMI-shielded audio processor ensure clean stereo and surround sound, and a dedicated headphone amplifier automatically detects the optimal impedance for your headphones. For gaming, Nahimic 3 provides you with virtual surround sound with an in-game overlay that displays where noises are coming from.

- The DDR4 memory slots on this motherboard are built with an optimized memory layout to offer stability, performance, and low power consumption. Additionally, this motherboard supports XMP for enhanced RAM speeds.
