Product description CES 2017: MSI Launches New B250, H270, and Z270 Motherboards Read More The MSI H270 PC Mate LGA1151 ATX Motherboard lets you build a Windows system that sports a 6th- or 7th-generation Intel processor and up to two dedicated graphics cards. The H270 PC Mate features an Intel H270 chipset and an LGA1151 socket to become compatible with Intel's Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Pentium, and Celeron processors. It comes with four DIMM slots, which can accommodate up to 64GB of DDR4 memory chips, as well as six SATA interfaces for your 2.5" and 3.5" storage drives. For faster access to your data, the H270 PC Mate supports up to two ultra-fast SSDs with an M.2 form factor, along with support for RAID with these drives.
The H270 PC Mate motherboard comes with a total of eight USB ports with varying speeds. For connections with keyboards and mice, two USB 2.0 ports are available. To connect with printers, scanners, and external storage drives, this motherboard offers four USB 3.0 ports, which deliver speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. With speeds of 10 Gb/s, the two onboard USB 3.1 ports are suitable for transferring large-sized files from digital cameras. Moreover, one of these two USB 3.1 ports features a reversible USB Type-C design that enables you to connect a USB-C cable the first try.
MSI has outfitted this motherboard with HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA outputs to deliver detailed visuals to your monitors utilizing integrated Intel graphics. With two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots available, you can install optional graphics cards to edit videos and create 3D environments. Furthermore, three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots and one PCI slot are on board, letting you expand the motherboard's capabilities.
Aside from slots, the H270 PC Mate motherboard is equipped with an Intel Gigabit Ethernet port along with a Realtek ALC887 audio codec chipset, which immerses you in 7.1-channel sounds through your speakers or headset. - Intel H270 Chipset
