Product description The MEG X399 Creation TR4 E-ATX Motherboard from MSI is built on the AMD X399 chipset, supporting first- and second-generation AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors with a TR4 socket. It has eight memory slots for up to 128GB of quad-channel DDR4 RAM, which can be overclocked to up to 3600 MHz. For storage, it's equipped with eight SATA III ports and three M.2 slots. If you need more space, the MEG X399 Creation comes with an M.2 XPANDER-AERO PCIe card that adds four additional M.2 slots. There are four PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for graphics cards and a single PCIe 2.0 x1 slot for other PCI-based hardware. Other integrated features include dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Realtek ALC1220 7.1-channel HD audio - Cooling
- The MEG X399 Creation motherboard is built with 10 fan headers that support both DC and PWM modes for full fan control. Adjust their speeds within BIOS or a third-party software to find your preferred balance between noise and cooling performance.
- Storage
- The MEG X399 Creation motherboard has eight SATA III ports and three M.2 slots, which support the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface for speeds of up to 32 Gb/s. It also comes with a M.2 XPANDER-AERO PCIe card, which adds four extra M.2 slots. For additional performance, AMD STOREMI technology can improve storage performance by creating a virtual SSD with a combination of storage drives and memory.

- Connect to the Internet via 802.11ac Wi-Fi or using the dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for a more stable and reliable wired connection. Both ports are equipped with LAN Protect, which shields your connection from power surges, lightning strikes, and static electricity.
- MSI Mystic Light
- Customize your system's lighting with MSI Mystic Light. Choose from over 16 million colors and a variety of lighting effects to fit your build. Additionally, you can sync it with other RGB LED hardware and peripherals.
- Audio Boost with Nahimic 3
- Audio Boost incorporates multiple hardware and software features designed to provide you with a more immersive listening experience. It consists of a high definition ALC1220 audio processor, separated audio channels, audio caps for warm sound, and an easy-to-use software for customizing user profiles.
- Memory
- With eight quad-channel memory slots, this motherboard can support up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM. Moreover, the slots are built with optimizes traces and fully isolated circuits for enhanced stability and performance. You can also enable X.M.P for overclocked speeds of up to 3600 MHz.
