Product description Equipped with linear Cherry MX Red switches, a 45 g actuation force, red LED backlighting, 104 keys, and rated for over 50 million keystroke operations, the Vigor GK60 Gaming Keyboard from MSI connects to your system using a 6.6' wired USB 2.0 Type-A connection. Also featured is 100% anti-ghosting, full N-key rollover in Gaming Mode and 6-key rollover in Standard Mode, hotkeys with over 100 combinations, seven selectable lighting effects that can be fully customized in MSI's Gaming Center, and a Windows lock key. Additionally, a Gaming Base right under the space bar helps provide better anti-slip performance while typing, and a cable management channel allows extra cables to be stored under the keyboard.
The Vigor GK60 is compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, and 7. It comes preinstalled with four metal WASD keycaps, although four standard keycaps are included for non-gaming uses. Also included is a key puller. To switch between Gaming and Standard modes, press Fn and the Windows key. General Features - Feel the Difference
- Four preinstalled metal keycaps for the W, A, S, and D keys provide enhanced feedback and help reduce the chance of pressing the wrong key during gaming sessions. Standard versions of those keycaps are included in the retail box.
- Intuitive Hotkeys for Effect Controls
- Adjust effects like speed, direction, and mode switching directly from hotkeys. There are over 100 effect combinations that you can choose to fit your playstyle.
- Make Every Keypress Count
- 100% anti-ghosting with N-key rollover technology (in Gaming Mode) and a rapid response helps ensure successful gaming.
- Seven Lighting Effects
- Adjust lighting settings with seven effects that can be fully customized with MSI's Gaming Center. Aside from Steady, the effects include Horizon, Breath, Ripple, Wave, Reactive, and Radar.
- Gaming Base
- The steady Gaming Base right under the space bar provides feedback and improved anti-slip performance while typing.
- Cable Management
- A smart cable management design lets you store extra cables under the keyboard.
- Cherry MX Red Switches
- Mechanical keyboards utilize a different type of key switch technology for a more durable and unique typing experience. The Cherry MX Red switch has an actuation force of 45 g and features a linear travel with no tactile bump. This can be beneficial for users who don't need the tactility of other switches. Additionally, with close actuation and release points, Cherry MX Red switches allow for easier double-tapping. Unlike Cherry MX Blue switches, these do not have an audible "click" mechanism, allowing for a quieter operation. Noise generated from this keyboard will be from the key either springing back into place or "bottoming out" – making contact with the back plate after a particularly hard press.
