Product description The package of two MuxLab 2 x CCTV Screw Terminal Baluns from is designed to transmit CCTV video signals via Cat 3, 5e, or 6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, eliminating the need for coaxial cable. Providing a hassle-free cabling solution, the baluns connect a wide range of surveillance devices including cameras, IP camera encoders, video switchers, sequencers, multiplexers, DVRs, and camera servers. These baluns can also be used with other composite baseband video equipment such as DVD players, cable boxes, media servers, and audio/video monitors. - Video extender used in pairs
- Allows use of Cat3/5/5E cables as a cost-effective alternative to coaxial cables
- Transmits color signals up to 1200' (365m) via Cat3; distance can be extended up to 2200' (670m) via Cat5
- Transmits black and white signals up to 1500' (457m) via Cat3; distance can be extended up to 2500' (762m) via Cat5/6
- Made of ABS fire retardant plastic
- Compact design - 2.30 x 0.62 x 0.62" (5.8 x 1.57 x 1.57 cm)
- Low return loss - ensures maximum power transfer with no line faults
- Allows use of Cat5E/6 cables as an alternate to coaxial cables, making changes and additions easier
