Product description The MuxLab 500130 Passive CCTV Hub (UTP/Coax) with coax video output allows transmission of video, remote power, and PTZ control via one Cat5 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, eliminating the need for multiple cable installations. Providing a hassle-free cabling solution, it connects directly to the CCTV security / surveillance equipment that includes cameras, monitors, switchers, multiplexers, DVRs, and other CCTV equipments. The rack-mountable, 16-port modular hub supports transmission of color signals up to 1200' (365m) via Cat3, which can be extended up to 2200' (670m) via Cat5. For B & W signals, the maximum transmission distance is up to 1500' (457m) via Cat3 and can be extended up to 2500' (762m) via Cat5. Made of black anodized aluminum, the compact modular hub measures 19 x 1.75 x 1.5 " (48.26 x 4.4 x 5.1 cm), and features port configuration switch to set each port as Pass-thru (500022) or Power-thru mode (500024/500029). The Pass-thru hub transmits remote power up to 350' (107m) via 2 twisted pair cables while the Power-thru transmits up to 518' (170m) via 3 twisted pair cables at 24VAC/5VA. The 2-wire PTZ control transmits up to 4000' (1.2km) via 1 UTP cable.
