Product description The 500302 CATV Balun II from MuxLab integrates terrestrial broadband video (bandwidth up to 900 MHz) by replacing traditional coax cabling with Cat5 UTP cables. Using Cat5 cables, the balun can transmit video signals at distances of up to 330', depending on the channel frequency and input power being used. Additionally, the balun is designed to be used in pairs, enabling you to easily move or add CATV equipment to any convenient modular wall outlet.Supporting broadband CATV, VHF, FM, broadband internet, and digital cable, the balun is ideal for use in schools, government offices, hospitals, financial institutions, hotels, and residential complexes. Constructed of ABS fire retardant plastic for strength and durability, this balun is designed for long-lasting use. Furthermore, it features low return loss for maximum power transfer with no line faults between the input and output. This balun can be used in conjunction with RF splitters, amplifiers, and cable modems for a comprehensive cabling solution. - Enables you to replace a 75 Ohm coax cable with a single pair of Cat5 UTP cable
