Product description The MuxLab Active VGA/Audio Balun (RX) allows reception of VGA and stereo or digital audio in a point-to-point configuration using Category 5e/6 unshielded copper twisted pair cables. It supports reception of VGA signals up to 600' (180m) at a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The unit is also capable of receiving analog stereo audio and digital audio at a maximum distance of 1000' (305m). When used in conjunction with MuxLab's IR-Emitter (500998) and IR Sensor (500999), the balun provides IR source control. The unit also features RS-232 control, ground loop isolation, manual brightness, sharpness, and skew adjustments. The active balun is enclosed in a black ABS fire retardant plastic case. Supporting DDC1 and DDC2 compliant, the balun is ideal for use in digital signage, residential, boardroom, classroom, and medical imaging video systems. Providing a hassle-free cabling solution, it connects directly to PCs, laptops, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, plasma screens, and DLP projectors. - Allows reception of VGA and stereo or digital audio in a point-to-point configuration using Category 5E/6 unshielded copper twisted pair cables
