Product description The MuxLab HDMI Econo Mono Extender Kit is a transmitter and receiver set that extends an HDMI signal up to 230 ft over one Cat5e/6 cable, carrying, for example, a DVD player signal to a TV in a different room. Additional to the transmitter and receiver, the kit also includes an IR emitter and an IR sensor. One connects to the transmitter and the other to the receiver so that the remote control of the input source -- the DVD player, per the above example -- can be used in the room that the output source is in (by pointing at the IR Sensor).
Resolutions up to 1080p can be carried 230 ft, and 3840 x 2160 4K signals can be carried 115 ft -- the extender's HDMI connectors are HDMI 1.3a, but they have all but two features of HDMI 1.4, and 1.4 supports both 4K and 3D.
