Product description The HDMI-over-Coax Extender Kit from MuxLab enables the long-distance transmission of HDMI signals over a RG-59 or RG-6 coax cable, eliminating the need for long and expensive custom HDMI cables. With a range of up to 800' for 480i, and 300' for 1080p, you can use the kit for digital signage, projection systems, A/V systems, or any other application where the source is far from the display.The incoming digital signal from a source, such as a computer or DVD player, is converted to analog, transmitted through the coax, converted back to digital in the receiver, and sent to an HDMI port on a display. This system is ideal for upgrading an existing system, since it eliminates the need for re-wiring, while providing the benefit of 1080p resolutions. - Recommended Uses
