Product description The MuxLab HDMI / RS-232 Receiver with PoE supports Ultra HD 4K transmissions from up to 115 ft away over Cat5e/6 from a compatible transmitter and 1080p transmissions from up to 230 ft away. The HDMI protocol is 1.3 but it supports the 3D and 4K features of HDMI 1.4, so 3D and 4K video are also supported. Audio is supported in all digital formats including 7.1 Ch, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD. Compatible transmitters include HDMI 16x16 and 4x4 Matrix Switches.
A DB-9 RS-232 port is available for transmitting remote control commands between the receiver and the HDMI source. An IR sensor is included for controlling the HDMI source from the display location. This Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) version requires no external power supply unit and gets its power directly from the optional transmitter, transmitted along with the video and audio data over Cat5e/6. - Supports UHD 4K from 115 ft and 1080p from 230 ft over Cat5e/6
