Product description The HDMI/RS232 Extender Kit with PoE from MuxLab enables the long-distance transmission of HDMI signals over a single Cat5e/6 or higher cable. It supports all digital audio including 7.1-channel surround, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD. With a range of up to 230' for resolutions up to 1080p, use this for digital signage, projection systems, A/V systems, or any other application where the source is far from the display. There is an included IR emitter and sensor for controlling the source, such as a DVR or cable box, from the display location. The transmitter powers the receiver using the same Cat5e/6 cable, via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), eliminating the need for a second power supply, and reducing the cabling required. - Recommended Uses
