Product description The HDMI/RS232 over IP Receiver with PoE from MuxLab is a receiver unit. When paired with its matching transmitter unit, it enables long-distance transmission of HDMI signals over a single Cat 5e/6 unshielded twisted pair cable in a point-to-point configuration. Point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint is possible by connecting several encoders and decoders to the same Ethernet network. With a range of up to 330' for resolutions up to 1080p, you can use this for digital signage, projection systems, A/V systems, or any other application where the source is far from the display. There is an included IR sensor for controlling the source, such as a DVR or cable box, from the display location. - Recommended Uses
