Product description The MuxLab PTZ Balun is a video extender that allows transmission of CCTV video and up-the-coax PTZ control signals via a single UTP cable. When used in pairs, the Balun transmits black and white signals up to 1400’ (427 m) and color signals up to 1250’ (381 m) via Cat5e/6 cables. A low return loss transmission ensures maximum power transfer with no line faults between the input and output. - Used in pairs, allows transmission of CCTV video and "up-the-coax" PTZ control signals via a single UTP cable
- Allows use of Cat3/5e/6 cables as a cost-effective alternative to coaxial cables
- Transmits color signals up to 875' (267 m) via Cat3; distance can be extended up to 1250' (381 m) via Cat5e/6
- Transmits black and white signals up to 980' (299 m) via Cat3; distance can be extended up to 1400' (427 m) via Cat5e/6
- Made of ABS fire-retardant plastic
- Hook and loop mounting strip for neater installation
- Allows movement of security/monitoring devices closer to a modular wall outlet
- Low return loss ensures maximum power transfer with no line faults
