Product description The black pair of CR21 Small-Diaphragm Condenser Instrument Microphones from MXL feature 22mm gold-sputtered diaphragms and a cardioid pickup pattern. These pencil condensers can be used to capture audio in several environments—recording studios, rehearsals spaces, and more. They are suitable for recording drums (overheads), acoustic instruments, and pianos. In tight situations they deliver a sound that is clean, articulate, and full. The microphones are built to pick up every detail of your performance, and each features a transformerless preamp, which makes for low noise and distortion. The fast transient response of the capsule provides extra accuracy. In addition, a pair of hard-mount mic stand adapters and a microfiber cleaning cloth are included.
