Product description The V69M HE from MXL is a cardioid, large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone designed for recording vocals in commercial and project studios. Its internal wiring and cables are high-quality Mogami. The HE (Heritage Edition) version of the V69M features a silver frost finish and a variety of accessories.The V69M HE utilizes the same transformerless design and 12AT7 dual-triode tube as the original V69M. Its cardioid polar pattern maximizes sound rejection from the rear of the mic, providing a directional focus that reduces room reflections in the recording. Its 20 Hz - 18 kHz frequency response has a presence boost centered at 10 kHz, optimized to yield crisp, full-range tone for vocals in a variety of genres and styles. It features a 32mm capsule with a 6-micron, gold-sputtered diaphragm, and can handle a high maximum SPL of 140 dB at 0.5% THD.The supplied shockmount decouples the mic from a stand, reducing the pickup of rumble. Included with the V69M HE is a metal mesh pop filter, ideal for minimizing plosives during vocal recording sessions. The provided aluminum flight case ensures the mic's safety during storage or transport. -
