Product description The M116 Fullbore Metal Pedal from MXR was designed to unleash the most devastating contemporary metal guitar tones with lethal amounts of high gain. A built-in switchable noise gate limits the noise associated with extreme gain levels, and a 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange provides more tone control. A footswitch toggles the effect in and out of bypass, and when the effect is on, a red LED directly above the switch is illuminated. The Fullbore Metal includes six control knobs to shape your sound: Volume adjusts the overall effect volume, Freq selects the midrange frequency (200 Hz to 5 kHz) to be altered by the Mid control, Low adjusts the amount of low end, High sets the amount of high end, and Gain regulates the amount of distortion. In addition, a Scoop button boosts the highs and lows, and a Gate button activates the noise gate. A dedicated red LED indicates when the Scoop button is engaged, and a green LED lights up when the Gate is activated. An adjustable Noise Gate Trigger located inside the pedal can be used to set the noise gate's sensitivity. The pedal is powered by a single 9V battery or an AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003E, or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
