Product description The myMix MADI16-FER is a MADI to myMix interface system designed to add 16 analog or digital inputs to your existing myMix setup. It includes one myMix IEX-16L-A 16-channel input expander, a Ferrofish Pulse16 MX 16-channel AD/DA converter, and their external power supplies. Connect your sources to the Ferrofish's balanced analog, ADAT optical, and MADI optical inputs, then hook up its outputs to the DB25 or optical inputs of the IEX-16L-A input expander. The input expander integrates to your audio network via a front-panel RJ45 port. - Pulse16 MX Rackmount 16-Channel AD/DA, MADI & ADAT Converter The Ferrofish Pulse16 MX is a 1 RU rackmount 16-channel AD/DA converter offering analog, MADI, and ADAT I/O for tracking and mixing engineers in recording studios, houses of worship, broadcast trucks, and concert venues. With 24-bit / 192 kHz Cirrus Logic converters, a TCXO internal clock, and an active jitter-elimination circuit, it delivers accurate high-resolution audio. Interface a variety of equipment via the 16 balanced 1/4" TRS inputs/outputs, four ADAT optical inputs/outputs, and optical MADI I/O. The front-panel 1/4" headphone output features digitally controlled volume and an assignable mono or stereo source.BNC jacks provide wordclock I/O for proper synchronization with other digital equipment such as master clock generators, additional converters, and digital consoles. Remote control of the Pulse16 MX is possible through the MIDI 5-pin ports, which also support MIDI-over-MADI embedding and extracting. Display and modification of device settings, meters, and routing are achieved via the dual color TFT screens and three front-panel controls. The Pulse16 MX includes an external power supply and a MADI cable.
- High-resolution Cirrus Logic A/D-D/A converters operate at up to 24-bits / 192 kHz
- TCXO (temperature-compensated oscillator) internal clock and active jitter reduction provide reliable clock stability
- BNC word clock I/O for synchronization with other digital equipment
- 16 balanced analog inputs/outputs on 1/4" TRS jacks
- Optical MADI I/O allows up to 64 channels of digital input and output
- Singlemode or multimode operation via SFP module
- Four TOSLINK optical inputs/outputs for up to 32 channels of ADAT I/O
