Product description The Nady DB-2 is a two-channel passive DI box, specifically for routing 1/4" outputs to mixing consoles, PA systems, recording interfaces, or anything else that accepts balanced XLR connections. It’s designed to convert unbalanced audio to balanced mic or line-level signal, so you can use it with the outputs of DJ mixers, keyboards, and more.Three-position input attenuation switches on both inputs allow you to bring down high-level signals in -20 dB increments, so you won’t overload the inputs of the corresponding mixer or recording device. Should you wish to route the mono signal of one input to both XLR outputs, you can do so via a mono/stereo switch.You’ll also note the 1/4" parallel input/output jacks. You can use these as additional inputs—so you can effectively sum a stereo pair to one XLR output—or as output jacks to pass a copy of the signal to a different device. Thus, if you want to feed your keyboard to the house PA at a gig, but would also like to hear it through the amplifier behind you on stage, you can accomplish that sort of routing scheme with the DB-2.
