Product description The rechargeable battery-powered 131-RLED-MS Compound Microscope with Mechanical Stage from National Optical is a three-objective inclined microscope designed for middle school and high school students. Achromatic DIN optics minimize image distortions and deliver consistent views on all three magnification settings. The objectives are also parfocalled and parcentered, keeping the specimen in focus and centered in the field of view when the magnification is changed. This microscope was built for reliable performance and is backed by the manufacturer's lifetime warranty.A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the 131 series microscope a welcome addition to classrooms. A 360° rotating monocular viewing head enables the eyepiece to be shared with multiple viewers without having to move the microscope. This configuration of the 131 has an individual focus dial for fine and coarse adjustments. The focus system also includes a slip clutch and rack stop that prevents mishandling by novice users. The 131-RLED-MS also features a rechargeable battery-powered cool LED substage illuminator and graduated mechanical stage.
