Product description The 405TBL-10-3 3x Stereo Microscope from National Optical is a single magnification stereoscopic microscope fit for laboratories, high school and university students. The stereo (dual) eyepiece configuration is preferred by most researchers and students because of the superior depth of field and comfort compared to monocular microscopes. This model of the 405 microscope has a paired 10x eyepiece delivering 30x magnification. The stage can be illuminated from above, below, or both using 10W tungsten lights activated by separate base-mounted On/Off switches.A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the 405 series a welcome addition to labs as well as classrooms. This microscope has a single focusing dial and an adjustable post for raising the viewing head to accommodate specimens up 35mm / 1.4". The rack and pinion focus system also includes a slip clutch mechanism to prevent mishandling. An adjustable interpupillary distance, left-side diopter correction, and reticle holder/retainer provide the 405 series stereo microscope with the flexibility needed to create a customized viewing experience. - Optical System
