Product description The 411-TBL-10 Stereoscopic Microscope from National Optical is a versatile user-friendly stereoscopic optical instrument designed to facilitate teaching at the high school level and is also capable of handling a wide range of tasks for hobbyists and researchers alike. This updated model features a dual tungsten illumination system that provides top (incidental) and bottom (transmitted) specimen lighting options. The student-proof design decreases the likelihood of lost parts or mishandling. This model of the 409 series microscope is configured with inclined 10x eyepieces, achromatic 2x and 4x objectives mounted on a rotating turret that locks in place, and rack and pinion focusing with slip clutch and tension adjustment. The included 80mm reversible black and white contrast plate and 80mm frosted glass stage provides operators with several viewing options that compliment the multi-angle illumination system.
