Product description The 411TBL-20 2x/4x Stereo Microscope from National Optical is a dual magnification stereoscopic microscope fit for laboratories, high school and university students. The stereo (two) eyepiece configuration is preferred by most researchers and students because of the superior depth of field and comfort compared to monocular microscopes. This model of the 411 microscope has a paired 20x eyepiece delivering 40x and 80x magnification. The stage can be illuminated from above using a 10W tungsten light and/or from under stage using a 15W tungsten light, both activated by separate base-mounted On/Off switches.A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the 411 series a welcome addition to labs as well as classrooms. This microscope has a single focusing dial and a 360° rotating viewing head to help share the eyepiece among colleagues and students without moving the microscope. The rack and pinion focus system also includes a slip clutch mechanism to prevent mishandling. An adjustable interpupillary distance, left-side diopter correction, and reticle holder provide the 411 series stereo microscope with the flexibility needed to create a customized viewing experience. - Optical System
