Product description The National Optical & Scientific Instruments 460TBL-10 Stereoscopic Microscope is a cost-effective model with superior capabilities. Designed for students, the 460TBL-10 provides 10x to 30x continuous zoom magnification. Paired widefield 10x eyepieces that sit at a 45° incline make for comfortable viewing, while the 360° rotating head allows for sharing between students. The halogen top and bottom lights are operated via base mounted controls, permitting top only, bottom only, or dual illumination. The lighting system is 3-wire grounded for safety and efficiency. The 460TBL-10 uses rack and pinion focusing. Large dual focusing knobs enable smooth, precise focusing, while a slip clutch prevents damage to the mechanism. The tension adjustment eliminates focus drift. Additionally, the microscope comes with two 80mm stage plates - one black plastic contrast plate and one translucent white plate. Other features include a blue filter for transmitted light and locked-on stage clips. - Optical System
