Product description Explore the microscopic world with the compound DC5-169-SP Trinocular Microscope with 3.0MP Camera from National. This microscope provides a 45° inclined binocular viewing and a built-in 3.0MP camera for documenting your discoveries. For sharing the views with your colleagues or classmates, the head can rotate 360°. The ball-bearing nosepiece has four receptacles for the included 4x, 10x, 40xR, and 100xR DIN achromatic (parfocalled and parcentered) objectives. The 40xR and 100xR objective lenses are retractable to prevent lens damage while focusing, and the 100xR objective lens is designed to be used with immersion oil to achieve maximum resolution. This microscope adheres to the DIN standard and allows you to use any commercially available DIN objective of your choice. While the parfocalled and parcentered feature allows you to use objectives of different magnifying powers without disturbing your focus or re-aligning your specimen, the semi-plan achromatic optics reduce image, color, and field distortion, and deliver a field flatness of 80 - 85%.To generate images with proper brightness and contrast, the illumination system provides a 3W bottom LED illuminator with adjustable brightness and a 1.25 NA Abbe condenser. For more control of illumination and contrast, the scope also has an iris diaphragm and a filter holder.
Beyond superior optical performance, the 5.5 x 5.3" mechanical stage offers excellent precision with a scale in 0.004" graduations. With the 2.8 x 2.0" movement range, a lockable sample holder, and low-position coaxial motion control you will have enough room to maneuver your specimens and secure them at your desired position. For stability, durability, and precision for years to come, the frame is made of cast aluminum alloy. It has an arched back that can serve as a handle in case you need to carry the microscope from place to place. For convenience and to provide ergonomics, the microscope provides a generous 54 - 76mm sliding interpupillary adjustment and knurled focusing and position knobs. Among numerous included items is a Motic Images software CD for viewing, editing, and saving your data on your computer. - Optical System and Focusing
