Product description The NatureScapes NSN Safety Plate is for the Gitzo GT5541LS and GT1548 tripods. It provides additional support to the tripod's top plate, in order to safely carry the tripod over the shoulder with a camera, telephoto lens, teleconverter, and flash attached.The plate is manufactured using 6061 anodized aluminum alloy, and includes two 3/8" stainless steel bolts. It fits perfectly and snugly below the existing Gitzo plate, inside the basin. Once installed, the Gitzo plate cannot move or loosen, therefore preventing the head and photo equipment from falling.
