Product description The NcSTAR Picatinny/Weaver Tri-Rail Receiver Cover Mount replaces the stock receiver on SKS carbines, including variants and clones, to give you a solid and secure way to mount optics on top and smaller accessories on the side.The top rail runs the full length of the cover for riflescopes or dot sights. Its smaller side rails can be installed on either side of the front, back, or middle of the receiver cover's length for custom mounting of lights, lasers, or illuminators. If you don't need the side rails one or both can be completely removed to eliminate snag hazards or to cut weight. The top rail is designed with a machined channel down its centerline so that you can still use your iron sights without obstruction.The receiver cover is made of steel and the rail is made of aluminum, and both parts are treated with a scratch-resistant black anodized finish. NcSTAR accounted for slight design/manufacturing differences on certain variants and clones by making the mount slightly longer so it can be hand-fitted to your specific rifle for a secure fit.
