Scalable Computing Power
• Integrated computing options allow for cable-free signage for nearly any situation. The onboard multimedia player can be utilized for simple signage applications by allowing auto-play off USB drives or an SD card, or you can transfer content via your LAN. For more advanced signage systems, the P554 has a slot for a Raspberry Pi Compute module to support a variety of applications. Furthermore, this display adheres to the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) that allows you to integrated a computer, HDBaseT receiver, or other option directly into the display.

Heat Management
• Monitoring and managing the temperature of each display helps ensure reliability and longevity. Thermal protection, internal temperature sensors with self-diagnostics, and fan-based technology allows for 24/7 operation and protects the P554. Without thermal management, displays can be prone to damaging heat over time, lowering the picture quality and life expectancy of the display. Integrated cooling fans automatically turn on when high internal temperatures are detected, and will stay on until the heat is properly dissipated and the display remains under proper temperature thresholds.

L-Shaped Connectivity
• Connectivity is located on both the bottom and side of the display to facilitate easy access, regardless of orientation.

Ambient Light Sensor
• Auto dimming of the LED backlights can be utilized through the ambient light sensor allowing for the brightness to change depending on the light levels in the room.

SpectraView Engine
• Enhanced imaging performance through the setting of all relevant parameters allow virtually full control of brightness, color, gamma, and uniformity via an integrated color-critical chipset.

Auto TileMatrix, Auto ID, and Auto IP Address Technologies
• Auto IP Address is designed to simplify control setup by setting the static IP address on the first display, then setting up the IP addresses of consecutive displays following the LAN daisy chain. In the case of video wall installations, Auto TileMatrix and Auto ID can scale images up to UHD resolution across the entire wall through DisplayPort 1.2 while individually identifying each screen, helping to save time and overall cost of installation.

Key Guide
• The Key Guide function allows for easier access to buttons when manually controlling the display via the buttons on the back by adding an on-screen graphic directing you to the correct button layout in both landscape and portrait modes.

Display Wall Calibrator Color Calibration Software
• As the brightness and color temperature of the LCD change with time, colors may not match across multiple screens. NEC Display Wall Calibrator software helps ensure color uniformity and fidelity across multiple screens, helping to create a matched image in tiled environments.

Intelligent Wireless Data Function
• The built-in near-field communication (NFC) chip allows data to be read and written via a mobile phone or tablet. You can reduce installation costs as displays can be more easily configured and serviced using the NEC NFC Android app. This is particularly useful for large rollouts, as it can be utilized even when the display is powered off.

Removable Logo
• Whether you're mounting the display in landscape or portrait orientation, you can change the orientation of the logo or remove it altogether.

NaViSet Administrator 2
• This software is engineered to be an all-in-one remote support solution that runs from a central location and provide monitoring, asset management, and control functionality of a variety of NEC display devices and Windows computers, making it well suited for multi-device installations over large infrastructures.

Proof of Play
• This function provides proof that displays were working as intended when checking from an offsite location. Information regarding video source, time on, audio source, and more can be pulled through the display when coupled with NaViSet Administrator 2.
