Product description Aimed at self-starters such as make-up artists and online personalities, this LED Ring Light Kit from Neewer comes with all the accessories you need to set up a simple light and camera rig for photo or video recording. The main components are a 14" ring light with a dedicated carrying bag, an aluminum alloy stand that goes from 29.5" to 61" in height, and two sets of color filters that can help diffuse your output: white and orange. A "soft" extension tube can be used to articulate the fixture, while a ball head is provided for mounting a DSLR or mirrorless camera via its 1/4"-20 screw. And you can even use your iOS or Android phone for shooting, thanks to an adjustable smartphone holder that clips onto the ball head and a Bluetooth remote that can wirelessly control your device up to 30' away. The ring light is composed of 180 individual LEDs that feature an efficient, surface-mounted (SMD) design and a low total power draw of 36W. It is fully dimmable from 1 to 100%, offering a fixed color temperature of 5500K across the entire range that allows it to closely match other daylight-balanced light sources. Additionally, the fixture is rated to have a CRI of 83 or greater for reasonable color accuracy. The ring light can run on 110 to 240 VAC power thanks to a universal adapter, with two charging cables provided for compatibility with both US and European plug types.
