Product description Nero's BackItUp 2018 is a downloadable Windows software program that provides backup features and guides you through safeguarding files. BackItUp 2018 can be configured to always back up data when new or updated files are available or during a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The preserved data can be stored on a primary or secondary storage drive as well as on an external USB drive or NAS system for redundancy. When a file is missing or damaged from the current backup, BackItUp 2018 offers versioning support that enables you to retrieve an earlier version of the backup. Other notable features include a 256-bit encryption system along with a compression algorithm, which helps save space when storing data on a USB thumb drive. - Automate Backups
- You can back up your files daily, weekly, monthly, or whenever you want by setting up a time and date. You can even choose to set up a continuous file backup, and Nero BackItUp will constantly protect new data or files you've just updated.
- Multiple Targets
- Nero BackItUp lets you backup locally to another hard disk or external USB drive, burn your files, or store them on a network attached storage (NAS) system.
- Versioning
- Nero BackItUp even saves earlier versions of files that you want to protect. If you make any changes to a file, all older versions of that file will be kept locally. So even if you delete or damage a file, it's restorable.
- Encryption and Compression
- With AES 256-bit encryption, your files are safely stored. Additionally, you can even save disk space when storing the files to USB disk, utilizing a compression algorithm.
