Product description With the C6220 AC1200 Wi-Fi Cable Modem & Router from Netgear you no longer need to purchase a router separate of your cable modem. With this combination modem/router you can plug your incoming data connection directly into the device as it comes equipped with a single coaxial connector. Once connected, you can configure the router settings to ensure all of your Wi-Fi hungry devices have the connection they need.
The router portion of the C6220 Cable Modem & Router offers dual-band connectivity with support for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. This router also supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard with data transfer rates of up to 1200 Mbps. If a wired connection is needed, users can connect Ethernet enabled devices to either of the two auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports. The C6220 even comes equipped with a USB 2.0 port designed to support USB-enabled hard drives. Once connected, the hard drive can accessed from users throughout the network.
Once configured, the Netgear C6220 features a variety of apps allowing you to get the most out of your Internet connection. Share your multimedia content to DLNA enabled devices within the network, manage your network via your iPad, tablet, smartphone or computer, secure the network with the built-in WPS button, game online with no lag, and much more.
