Product description Eliminate monthly cable modem rental fees with the C7800 Nighthawk X4S Wireless AC3200 Dual-Band Gigabit DOCSIS 3.1 Modem & Router from Netgear. With this combination cable modem and router, you can connect your coax network cable directly to the C7800 and begin distributing that connection right away. The C7800 comes compatible with XFINITY cable Internet service as well as other non-bundled Internet service packages making it easy to configure your modem.
Once configured the DOCSIS 3.1 modem offers enhanced 32x8 channel bonding supporting download speeds of up to 1 Gbps. That fast connection can then be distributed wirelessly using the built in 802.11ac Wi-Fi router. This router operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies with data transfer rates of up to 3200 Mbps. Users also benefit from built-in beamforming technology accompanied by four high performance antennas for maximum wireless coverage. If a wired connection is needed the C7800 also comes equipped with four Gigabit LAN ports making it easy to connect Ethernet enabled devices directly to the network. The Nighthawk X4S also comes equipped with dual USB 3.0 ports to connect USB enabled peripherals to the network. -
