Product description Each of the 16 on the ProSafe Gigabit Rackmount Switch from Netgear supports data transfer rates of up to 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode. Plug-and-play functionality and a rackmount design makes for easy installation while 441,123 hours MTBF rating ensures the switch remains reliable when pushed to its limits. This ProSafe switch features Store and Forward packet switching and Auto Uplink ports for automatic MDI/MDI-X detection. Users also benefit from a 32 Gbps switching capacity, 256 KB RAM buffer, and 8K MAC address table to ensure each client receives sufficient bandwidth and data flows about the switch quickly and efficiently. - Full Duplex Support
- The switch not only supports standard 10/100/1000 Mbps devices in half-duplex mode, but is also capable of speeds of up to 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode. This makes the switch an excellent option for use in networks where data transfer bandwidth is crucial.
- Autosensing MDI/MDI-X Ports
- Every port on the switch is autosensing MDI/MDI-X, so you won't have to worry about switching between standard Ethernet and crossover cables when configuring your network.
- Rackmount Design
- The switch is housed in a sturdy form factor and includes a kit for rackmounting. This allows you to easily add it to a professional network via an equipment rack.
