Product description

The Neumann O 410 Tri-Amped Active Studio Monitor is a three-way studio monitor that features Neumann's proprietary Mathematically Modeled Dispersion, or MMD, Waveguide, which controls wave dispersion. The Waveguide was first designed mathematically, then physically built and tested under anechoic conditions to verify theoretical performance. By controlling the directivity of the waves, the O 410's Waveguard decreases early reflections and widens the useable listening area. This widens what many audio engineers refer to as the sweet spot, or place in front of your monitors where the speaker output is most optimal. The Waveguard houses both the midrange and treble drivers, and can be rotated to allow for horizontal or vertical mounting of the O 410.

Designed to be able to compensate for different environments, the O 410 features bass, mid, and treble control knobs as well as a low end parametric EQ to tweak 20Hz to 200Hz. These EQ options allow you to tune the speakers to compensate for the acoustics of your room.

The O 410 houses a one-inch titanium/fabric dome tweeter, a three-inch soft dome midrange driver, and a ten inch woofer.
  • Extremely low harmonic and intermodulation distortion results in clean sounding audio reproduction
  • Structural resonances avoided using LRIM, or Low Resonance Integral Molding
  • Wide horizontal directivity gives increased freedom of movement along the mixing console while narrow vertical directivity reduces the effect of early reflections off the console surface
  • The Mathematically Modeled Dispersion Waveguide can be rotated to accommodate horizontal or vertical mounting
  • Transformer balanced input stage (TIM 1) is equipped with a special distortion reduction crossover function
  • Electronics can be remotely accessed when the cabinet is flush mounted with accessories
  • Integrated electronic limiter for each driver
  • Active three-way crossover with 24 dB/octave slopes
  • Display for power on and protect is integrated into the MMD, together with a logo with a dimmer knob
  • Accelerated Heat Tunneling ensures effective amplifier cooling whether the cabinet is mounted vertically or horizontally
  • Electronics can be remotely powered on with two modes of operation (0 V and 12 V trigger)
  • Optional 24-bit, 192 kHz digital input stage available
  • Design results in low self-generated noise
In the Box Neumann O 410 Tri-Amped Active Studio Monitor
  • Power Cable
