Product description The gray WKE 82 Windscreen Set from Neumann is designed for use with the KMR 82i Shotgun Microphone. The elastic suspension, with pistol grip and boom pole connectors, can be used separately or mounted inside the windscreen. This set should be used to improve performance when microphones are used in outdoor applications during strong winds and vibrations. The windscreens will attenuate sound only in the uppermost frequency range.
For the KMR 82i Shotgun Microphone, the elastic suspension with pistol grip and boom pole connectors can be used either separately or mounted inside the windscreen. During high winds, the use of the textile cover or the windjammer fur is recommended. Note: The wind noise attenuation was measured without electrical filtering in a turbulent air stream traveling at 20km/h, generated by a noiseless wind machine.
