Product description Based on the XX series and styled in a black finish, the Neutrik NC3B is a 3-pole Female XLR cable connector designed to provide enhanced RF screening. It is suitable for situations such as live performances and recording, in which problems with radio transmission or mobile-phone interference may occur. It helps reject these problematic and disruptive aspects by introducing a circular capacitor around the cable shield. This capacitor acts as a filter, cutting off signals around 10 MHz. In order to boost RF rejection even further, a 24-Ohm / 1 kHz EMI-suppression ferrite bead between Pin-1 and the cable screen provides additional filtering. -
- 3-pole XLR cable connector with integrated capacitive shield to shell connection
- Circular capacitor around the cable shield enables low-inductive shield connection to connector housing
- Female connector with circumferential ground spring provides an accurate connection to the mating shell
- Cable-shield Pin-1 connection includes EMI-suppression bead to block high frequencies
- Avoid ground loops as there is no LF-shield connection to ground
- Rugged zinc die-cast shell
- Chuck-type strain-relief system for secure clamping of cables
- Boot with rubber gland provides high protection against bending stresses
