Product description The 4x60 DN463 Gen 3 Night Vision Riflescope with Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle from Newcon Optik combines a third generation intensifier tube with a 4x magnification optic and weatherproof housing to create a scope ready for close to mid-range tasks in low-light and harsh weather conditions. A 60mm objective lens and high-transmission optical system features f/1.68 light gathering ability, which provides the Gen 3 image intensifier with ample light to render detailed views in twilight, starlight and moonlight. Automatic brightness control protects the intensifier tube and the observer’s eyes when operating in dynamic lighting or when exposed to bright light sources A Mil-Dot reticle helps shooters determine distances to the target and establish leads for moving targets, as well as provide alternative aiming points for bullet drop and wind drift compensation. The DN463's illuminated Mil-Dot reticle also has adjustable brightness and allows the shooter to select between three reticle color options. Aiming point of the reticle can be zeroed using the scope's windage/elevation turrets with 0.45 MOA adjustment increments. The DN463's nitrogen-filled carbon plastic composite housing complies with Mil-Std 810 standards and is built to deliver waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance. Using the included Picatinny rail mount, this scope is ready to consistently withstand the recoil from ammunition up to .40 caliber. The durable construction does not end there—a digitally regulated power supply enables this NVD to perform in subzero temperatures without reticle shift or significant reduction to battery life. Complementing the mil-spec build quality and third generation night vision technology are features that help the DN463 improve the shooter's effectiveness in the field. A built-in IR illuminator has a focusable lens that allows the illuminator to spotlight the central area of the FOV, or defocus the beam to flood a broader field with infrared light. For more challenging targets or demanding conditions, a laser aiming device or high-powered IR illuminator can be attached to the scope's integrated Picatinny accessory side rail. The included remote activation switch, flip-down objective cover, and baffled rubber eyecup make the DN463 a well-equipped night vision riflescope for recreational and tactical applications.
