Product description With a range of 2.5 miles and the ability to measure azimuth, inclination, and speed, the LRB 4000CI 7x50 Rangefinder Binoculars from Newcon Optik offer a suite of tools for patrol, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations. Along with its rangefinding capabilities, the LRB 4000CI is a bright pair of binoculars with 50mm objective lenses and 7X magnification that provide detail at distance without the hand shake often experienced with higher-powered optics. The unit comes with a built-in digital compass for azimuth measurements, and features first/last targeting priorities, scan mode, last 10 targets recall, a target quality indicator, and selectable reticles to suit conditions. Its RS-232 port permits immediate data acquisition by computers or external GPS receivers. The long 18mm eye relief allows for comfortable use with or without eyewear, and the generous 7.1mm exit pupil combines with the large objectives for a bright image. Built to withstand the elements, these binoculars boast a highly water-resistant housing, rubber-armored housing, and a simple, two-button operation. They run on a 9V battery that will last for 5000 measurements, and are equipped with a low-battery indicator to avoid surprises in the field. - Optical Performance
