Product description If you have spare hard drives lying around and you want an easier way to read them than throwing them back into your computer chassis, then you need the Newer Technology Voyager S3 USB 3.0 Dock for 2.5"/3.5" SATA I/II/III HDD. This unique docking station can read almost any 2.5 or 3.5" drive, up to 6TB (support for drives over 2TB requires Windows XP 64-bit and later, or Mac OS X 10.2 or later) in all SATA I/II/III interfaces. There's a push-button eject for safe removal, a 2-color status LED, and it uses the ASMedia 1051e chipset. If your system's BIOS allows booting from its USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 interface, you can even use this as an external start up drive. The weighted base and non-skid rubber feet ensure stable operation, and the compact design won't significantly impact your workspace. It's quiet, and no cooling fan is needed, so you won't even know it's there. It even includes a USB 3.0 cable for out-of-the-box operation. It's compatible with Mac, PC, and Linux operating systems.
