Product description Designed for electric guitars looking for a more unified system for their pedalboards, the NEXI Industries Urban Series Alternative Starter Pack includes three stompboxes and a corresponding pedalboard called The Solution. With the Solution Pedalboard, NEXI Industries sought out to fix the conundrum of exposed connector cables, multiple power bricks, and the variable condition of day-to-day gigging life. The result is a pedalboard that is said to be splash proof, with no exposed cables or cords. The board can house up to eight pedals, and sports an adjustable boost function, as well as a tuner and a channel switcher for your amp.
This starter pack is geared for musicians operating in the genre of alternative music. Thus, three pedals are provided that help capture some of the classic timbres of alternative music from the 1990s. These include an overdrive pedal, one that achieves versatile, growling tones and provides a muscular sound to your rig. For those swirly clean sections, a phaser is on hand. A tremolo gives you the ability to add a subtle warble or a strong chop to the tone.
All of these pedals plug straight into the pedalboard, though they can also be used in standard pedal setups powered by BOSS-style 9V power supplies or 9V batteries. The pedal offers three knobs for operation: Volume, Chop, and Speed. Engaging and bypassing the pedal is as simple as stomping on the large rubberized footswitch. The pedal utilizes a true bypass circuit, so when it's not in use, no trace of the circuitry impacts your tone.Though intended for use with Solution pedalboards, this pedal can also work with most setups. Simply remove the rubberized pads on the unit, and you'll find all the customary I/O jacks and connectivity options including a slot for a 9V battery or your own power supply. Into this pedalboard, guitarists have the ability to plug a whole ecosystem of modular, analog pedals in any order they choose. And this is where the Urban Series Analog Tremolo Pedal comes in: you can plug this pedal directly into your Solution pedalboard by means of a multipin connection on the rear.
