Product description Designed for electric guitars looking for a more unified system for their pedalboards, the NEXI Industries Urban Series Metal Ultra Starter Pack includes four stompboxes and a corresponding pedalboard called The Solution. With the Solution Pedalboard, NEXI Industries sought out to fix the conundrum of exposed connector cables, multiple power bricks, and the variable condition of day-to-day gigging life. The result is a pedalboard that is said to be splash proof, with no exposed cables or cords. The board can house up to eight pedals, and sports an adjustable boost function, as well as a tuner and a channel switcher for your amp. This starter pack is geared for musicians operating in the genre of metal music and goes the extra mile by including four pedals to elicit metal tones. This includes an overdrive pedal, one that achieves a versatile, growling sound and provides a muscular timbre to your rig. The Metal Distortion pedal is useful for modern-day metal tones, working quite well on palm-muting and lead sections alike. The Urban Series Distortion pedal can push the front end of your amplifier aggressively or blend with the other pedals on the board, combining to make complex, distorted timbres. Finally, you get the Urban Series Delay, which gives warm, analog-style repeats suitable for arena-style solos and more. All of these pedals plug straight into the pedalboard, though they can also be used in standard pedal setups powered by BOSS-style 9V power supplies or 9V batteries. If you wish to use The Solutions Pedalboard provided, a power supply is included. - Urban Series Delay for Electric Guitars Intended for electric guitarists, the NEXI Industries Urban Series Delay is a pedal designed to work with the company's Solution pedalboards. However, it also works with standard pedal chains and conventional pedalboards.Housed in an all-metal chassis, the Urban Series Delay gives you a digital delay with a dry analog through. The delay is a simple, warm, organic-sounding delay, suitable for subtle slapback or arena style echoes. You can control the pedal's operation with three knobs: Time, Repeat, and Level. Engaging and bypassing the pedal is as simple as stomping on the large rubberized footswitch. The pedal utilizes a true bypass circuit, so when it's not in use, no trace of the circuitry impacts your tone.Though intended for use with Solution pedalboards, this stompbox can also work with most setups. Simply remove the rubberized pads on the unit, and you'll find all the customary I/O jacks and connectivity options including a slot for a 9V battery or your own power supply. Either way, the pedal is sure to bring you the gritty sound you expect from an analog stompbox.
- The Solution
- Recognizing that pedalboards can often be ungainly, NEXI Industries sought out to fix the conundrum of exposed connector cables, multiple power bricks, and the variable condition of day-to-day gigging life. The result is a pedalboard that is said to be splash proof, with no exposed cables or cords. The board even sports an adjustable boost function, a tuner, and a channel switcher for your amp. They call it The Solution.
Into this pedalboard, guitarists have the ability to plug a whole ecosystem of modular, analog pedals in any order they choose. And this is where the Urban Series Delay comes in: you can plug this pedal directly into your Solution pedalboard by means of a multipin connection on the rear.
Were you to do so, you wouldn't need a separate 1/4" connection for the pedal's input or output, nor would you need a 9V battery, a BOSS-style 9V power adapter, or a bunch of hook-and-loop fastener scuffing up the back of the stompbox. Yet the company recognizes that guitarists want the option to use the pedal however they'd like; so, all the conventional I/O and powering methods are on hand. - Urban Series Distortion Pedal for Electric Guitar The NEXI Industries Urban Series Distortion Pedal is a stompbox designed to work with the company's Solution pedalboards. However, it also works with standard pedal chains and conventional pedalboards.Featuring an all-analog construction in an all-metal chassis, the Urban Series Distortion provides a modern high-gain sound that goes beyond the 70s Distortion pedal for pushing the front end of your amplifier to its distorting limits. The timbre of the pedal can be manipulated via three controls: Distortion, Tone, and Volume. Engaging and bypassing the pedal is as simple as stomping on the large rubberized footswitch. You can use this pedal to elicit a contemporary, blazing distortion, or you can stack it with other distortion/overdrive pedals for a more complex tone. The pedal utilizes a true bypass circuit, so when it's not in use, no trace of the circuitry impacts your tone.Though intended for use with Solution pedalboards, this pedal can also work with most setups: Simply remove the rubberized pads on the unit and you'll find all the customary I/O jacks and connectivity options, including a slot for a 9V battery or your own power supply.
