Product description The 3x Quest 3M Night Vision Monocular with black body from Night Detective has a 1st Generation intensifier tube with 24-30 lp/mm resolution, and features a multicoated 40mm f/1.2 lens system with 3x magnification, 12° angular field of view, 8" minimum focus distance water resistant construction. The 1st generation tube with provides a green and white images, the built-in infrared illumination helps you see objects and targets in complete darkness. With 3x magnification and 12° angular field of provide a good trade-off between the ability to see a magnified scene with a large enough field of view to see a more complete picture and minimal image jitter due to inherent unsteadiness of hands. If you accidentally become exposed to bright light while using the Quest 3M, the Automatic Bright Light Cut-off function will instantly turn off the device to prevent intensifier tube damage and momentary flash blindness to your eyes.
The water resistant housing with wide operating temperature range allows using this device during camping, wildlife observation and training sessions in a variety of outdoor conditions, including rain, humidity and temperature fluctuations. Additionally, the housing has a smooth rubberized armoring with an attached padded hand strap. The hand strap tightly binds your hand to the body of the Quest 3M and allows you holding the it effortlessly while freeing up your index and middle fingers to operate the device's menu.
