Product description The 1x GEN 1 Guardian Night Vision Monocular from Night Optics features a High Performance Generation 1 night vision tube with a resolution of 40 lp/mm, and Bright Light Cut-off function. The High Performance Generation 1 intensifier tube offers higher resolution, brightness, and image clarity compared to Standard Generation 1 tubes. To allow a 40° angular field of view, the monocular is equipped with 1x multicoated 25mm f/1.2 lens system, and has a minimum focus of 10". If this device is accidentally exposed bright light that could damage the activated intensifier tube and overwhelm your eye, the Bright Light Cut-off will instantly shut down the tube.
Beyond these highlights, there is a built-in infrared illuminator to provide visibility in total darkness. If you need to change magnification, this NVD can be converted to a 3.6x device using an optional lens kit and can still be used hands-free or mounted. The construction features a weatherproof housing, a diopter adjustment and a rubber eyeguard. Also included with the binocular are a soft case and one CR-123A battery. - Optical Performance
