Product description Cut through the dark and challenging weather with the 6x Magnus 790 Gen 3 Gated Night Vision Riflescope from Night Optics. Complementing the Gen 3 Gated intensifier tube and 165mm f/2.0 lens system are anti-reflection fully multicoated optics that increase light transmission through the optical system for better overall image quality. The scope's gated power supply means the system is rapidly turning itself on and off; and this, when combined with a thin film attached to the microchannel plate, reduces image blooming. Designed for medium to long-range use, the Magnus has a maximum detection range of 2190yd, and a recognition range of 1640yd.The Magnus is equipped with a modified duplex-style crosshair reticle. The thin hairs are broken at the center to provide a clearly-defined aiming point. Mil-dots on all four axes allow for precision ranging and holdover/under. Two reticle color choices, red or amber, and adjustable brightness allow for individual customization based on preference or situation. Windage and elevation adjustment turrets provide impact-point correction at 1/4 MOA per click.A Picatinny/Weaver quick-release mount enables the scope to be easily installed and removed with precise repeatability, giving the user the confidence to switch out a day optic for the Magnus without having to re-zero. To withstand the rigors of outdoor use, the housing is nitrogen-filled to be water and fogproof. The scope has also be designed to be recoil-proof on up to a .50 BMG. - Optical Performance
