Product description Ideal for long-range and low-light security surveillance the Cyclops 10x 3rd Generation Night Vision Monocular from Night Optics combines features of the Sentry 14 with a powerful 10x magnification. It features a 3rd generation filmless autogated intensifier tube with resolution of 64-72 lp/mm and automatic brightness control. It will enable you to see brighter and clearer images than 1st and 2nd generation devices with similar optics. While the filmless microchannel plate improves signal-to-noise ratio and efficiency of the intensifier, the autogating allows operation in varying lighting conditions, protects against bright light burnout, and helps extend life. You can adjust image brightness or detail with a manual gain control. To maximize image brightness in total darkness, the monocular carries a built-in IR illuminator that casts extra infrared light on your targets. To add convenience and stealth for tactical applications, the device offers activation status indicator and automatic off function when you turn it up or take of off your headgear. The 10x magnification and 250mm objective lens is ideal for gathering lots of light in very low-light conditions and for long range observations. It offers a 5° field of view and allows a 33' minimum focus distance. The housing is made of a lightweight and impact-resistant polymer that offers fogproof and waterproof performance. To provide extra protection and stability for optics, the lens's housing is made of aluminum. To prevent spillover of light from the intensifier tube and to offer comfortable cushion between your eye's orbit and the eyepiece, the eyepiece has a wide rubber eyecup.
