Product description The NO-LRB-7 6x Night Vision Biocular from Night Optics is a powerful NVD biocular based upon the PVS-7 form factor, with the addition of an extremely potent 6x objective lens. The high-quality, all-glass optics of the 6x lens assembly has been designed specifically for optimal light transference with night vision devices. Lightweight, rugged and waterproof this long-range night observation device can acquire targets in excess of 3,000 yards. The bi-ocular configuration enhances the sight picture with greater depth perception; this provides the operator with a more comfortable long-term viewing experience. Most important of course is the quality and performance of the intensifier tube. The stealth advantage of night vision is contingent on its ability to resolve detail and contrast in no-light or low-light scenarios. The heart of this high-performance NVD is powered by a high-quality third generation intensifier tube with an auto-gated power supply. There are many different variables that affect the distance that one can see with a night vision device, among them the object's size, the level of details being sought from the object and the conditions of observation. Night vision devices detect much further under a full moon and clear skies than they will under a new moon and cloudy skies. Many different formulas are used to determine the statistic of maximum viewing range and the method of calculation varies by manufacturer. All night vision devices sold by have mechanisms in place to protect the intensifier tube from a sudden burst of bright light, but this does not mean that bright light doesn't damage the device. No matter what, bright light in any form is not good for the longevity and performance of image intensifier tubes. Note: Export of this device described herein is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State office of Defense Trade Controls, as prescribed in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITARxbryvedbsufwstqqvtyvebybfuzxuwxfzccx), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulation, Parts 120-130, and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
