Product description The Observer 384x288 25mm Thermal Imager from Night Optics is more compact and lightweight observation tool than its peers. It is intended for observing livestock and wildlife, surveillance, security, or search and rescue. The 384x288 uncooled ASI FPA microbolometer and 25mm f/1.0 lens system enables a maximum detection range out to 500 yd. Images are viewed through a 1x eyepiece on a 640x480 OLED display with a 2x digital option. Three reticles, nine selectable color schemes and two polarities provide customizable viewing to suit the situation or personal preferences. An on-board SD memory card slot enables video and still images to be captured, stored, and viewed on the Observer. A video-out port allows the use of an external monitor or recording device. The Observer also offers several power options. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack with a 3hr maximum runtime. Included with the imager is a 12VDC car adapter and a 110VAC US wall plug. Rubberized armor protects the weatherproof housing from impacts and drops. A wide -4 to 122°F operating temperature allows it to be used in most locations. The Observer is just 7.1" long and weighs just over a pound. - Image Performance
