Product description With the benefits of hands-free operation and a lightweight housing, the Patrolman Gen 3 Autogated Night Vision Bi-Ocular Night Vision Goggle from Night Optics provides an ideal night time surveillance solution for law enforcement, first responders, or military personnel. With its Gen 3 Autogated intensifier tube and 26mm f/1.12 lens system, the Patrolman has a max detection range of 380yd, and a recognition range of 330yd. An integrated IR illuminator provides added illumination when it's needed. The scope's gated power supply means the system is rapidly turning itself on and off; and this, when combined with a thin film attached to the microchannel plate, reduces image blooming.Designed for the rigors of extensive outdoor use, the housings are O-ring and gasket sealed to be waterproof and submersible to 3.3' for up to 30 minutes. Adding to its usefulness is a broad -60 to 120° operating temperature that allows it to be used just about anywhere you need it to.
