Product description Ideal for security surveillance, search and rescue, and tactical applications, the Sentry 14 1x 2nd Generation White Phosphor Night Vision Monocular from Night Optics is equally optimized for handheld, weapon-mounted, or headgear-mounted use. Its 2nd generation intensifier tube offers resolution of 41-64 lp/mm and features white phosphor technology for operators who prefer black and white images to green ones. You can adjust image brightness or detail with a manual gain control. To maximize image brightness in total darkness, the monocular has a built-in IR illuminator to cast extra infrared light on your targets. The device also offers a few convenient functions such as activation status indicator and automatic off function when you turn it up or take of off your headgear. Other convenient features are a diopter adjustment and low-battery and IR-on indicators. The 1x lens system, upgradable to higher magnifications with optional lenses, gives a wide 40° field of view and an ultra-short minimal focusing distance of 10". The housing is made of lightweight and impact-resistant polymer and offers fogproof and waterproof performance, with a submersion rating of 66'. To provide extra protection and stability for optics, the lens's housing is made of aluminum. To prevent spill-over of light from the intensifier tube, offering a comfortable cushion between the eyepiece and your eye, the eyepiece has a wide rubber eye cup.
